enjoy a netherfield cooking class experience

Our classes feature favorite items from our menu, where you can watch or participate as much as you like. Classes are about 1½ hours and wrap up with a fresh, hot meal of what we've just prepared.

The Bread, Biscuit & Pasta Making Class is available when you book a two-night stay at the Farm, so we can hold the class during the lunch-time in the middle of your stay. We also offer these classes in January and February as an evening session at our sister location, Netherfield Place, in Paola.

Bread, Biscuit & Pasta Making Class

In this always popular class, we will take you through all the steps you need to bring our beloved rustic bread, buttermilk biscuits, and fresh pasta to your own kitchen at home.

After the class, we’ll enjoy the fresh bread and biscuits hot from the oven with a selection of meats and cheeses, spreads and jams.

Available with a two-night stay at the Farm,
and also available Wednesdays and Fridays in January and February.

Pasta and Piccata Class

This class walks you through the steps of making Netherfield Farm’s most requested dinner, a creamy version of the classic Italian dish chicken piccata, perfect for serving over homemade pasta. During the session, we will mix, shape, and cut the fresh pasta, discuss the sautéing process, and develop the lemon, butter & cream piccata sauce.

The class includes dinner with the pasta, chicken, and sauce we make, as well as Netherfield’s sea salt crusted rustic bread fresh from the oven. Bring what you like to drink. A pinot grigio or chardonnay pairs well with this dish.

Available Thursdays and Saturdays in January and February.
